About the project

Working closely with The Botanical Gardener, we developed a series of bespoke powder coated planters to suit this private roof terrace in Chelsea, London.

In addition to the complex shape of the terrace, the levels were varied and the planters had to accommodate the parapet and upstand behind, both varying in width and height.

So as to comply with building regulations, one planter featured concealed unbraked castors mounted in the base, meaning it could be easily moved to provide occasional access as required.

To ensure the planters fitted perfectly, extensive surveying was completed resulting in a complete 3D Model and Drawings for approval.

In addition to the main roof terrace, we also produced a range of Window Box planters with supporting bracketry.

The material used was 2mm galvanised steel powder coated RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey in a Matt finish.
