Water Feature and Planters for the SSAFA show garden at Chelsea Flower Show designed by Amanda Waring of Catfoot Garden Design.
About the project
We were privileged to be invited to collaborate on the SSAFA Sanctuary Garden at the 2022 Chelsea Flower Show designed by award winning designer Amanda Waring of Catfoot Garden Design.
The scheme consisted of a combination of Planters and Water feature in copper with additional copper trims for contrasting timber planters.
The water feature consisted of a stainless steel water tight liner clad in grained copper with a powder coated infinity tray suspended on plastic pedestals.
The planters shared a similar construction with powder coated galvanised liners meaning thinner gauge copper could be used as aesthetic cladding and not structurally supporting the planting material, a system we have developed for “premium” cladding materials.
The process from design consultation to delivery was over 3 Years as result of cancellations during the COVID Pandemic and the Silver Medal the garden was awarded was well deserved and testament to the collaboration of all involved.
