A series of 10 Information Pedestals each depicting the history of the newly developed Battersea Power Station.
About the project
We were privileged to be asked by our client to undertake the design and fabrication of a series of 10 Information Pedestals to enhance the visitor experience at the iconic and newly redeveloped Battersea Power Station.
Each Pedestal carried a stainless steel plaque engraved to allow visitors to see what purpose the retained features of the building served when it were once operational.
The main body of the Pedestal was fabricated from Corten Weathering Steel, the information plaque 316 Stainless Steel and the corner details in Stainless Steel with a mirror polish.
The Pedestals also serve as a means of concealing services and each include hinged lockable doors for access to the rear. Laser cut branding featuring the Battersea Power Station logo ensures continuity repeated throughout the project.
