About the project

We were privileged to be asked by our client to undertake the fabrication of the external cladding panels to the underground parking facility at the iconic and newly redeveloped Battersea Power Station.

The entrance and exit ramps each featured 78 Linear Metres of cladding 1.1m high fabricated from 3mm thick Corten Weathering Steel.

The panels were in lengths up to 2.8m sloped to suit the gradient of the site. Folded ends to each panel ensured tight seams and corners were fully welded and polished.

All material was shot blasted prior to laser cutting, forming and welding to ensure continuity of finish and patination.
