Design, engineering and fabrication of bespoke planters, balustrade and gate for the terrace at a London residential property.
About the project
Hodgkinson Design commissioned us to design and fabricate a set of metal planters and a balustrade around the perimeter of a first-floor terrace at this London property. The entire structure is freestanding: the planters provide the sole ballast for the balustrade, which is supported by a hidden fixing system we designed and engineered in-house.
The planters and balustrade are all fabricated in mild steel, welded and polished to a smooth, seamless finish, then powder-coated. We also designed and manufactured a dividing metal gate and railings. Due to limited access to the terrace, all parts were supplied in a modular format for assembly on site.
