At this stage, the planter is very much in its component format, generally made up of sides, ends, base and feet. The third stage of the manufacturing process is the assembly and welding of the parts into a recognizable planter.
This process uses the latest welding technology to fuse the metal parts together, forming the complete planter. Of course this is only possible when combined with highly skilled tradesmen with many years experience.
The galvanised steel we use on all planters offers excellent life expectancy but is extremely difficult to weld and fume extraction is essential.
Once the welding process is completed, the construction is finished but it is not the seamless beautiful planter we need.
It now goes on to the grinding and polishing process.
